Our scavenger hunts and team-building activities connect your group to Bermuda’s unique history and culture. Our goal is to create a learning experience all while having fun! Edu-tainment!
Here are some events we’ve hosted in the past:
City of Hamilton and Town of St. George Scavenger Hunts
Learn and laugh… but don’t be last! We’ve hosted scavenger hunts for families, company teams, groups of friends and groups of strangers. Our scavenger hunts include trivia riddles, photo challenges and encourage guests to visit historic sites and learn stories about Bermuda’s history. We include actors playing historic figures that guests need to interact with – a fun and unique element!
Experiential Learning
Bermuda’s Union of Teachers asked us to create a day of learning for 30 educators. In teams of 10, they rotated around The Town of St. George to experience food, art and history activities, and were provided with suggestions on how to incorporate learnings into the classroom.
Mini Car Adventures
Teams used mini electric rental cars to visit key sites where they were met with games and riddles. (Think ‘Amazing Race’ – but no speeding in the cars!) For the eastern challenge, they found answers to questions based on a Masterworks art exhibit, built a complicated puzzle, learned about and had to find edible plants at Spittal Pond, and followed clues that took them to John Smith’s Bay, Fort St. Catherine, Blue Hole and more. During the western challenge, teams raced up the steps at Gibb’s Hill Lighthouse, searched the exhibits at Vesey Nature Reserve for key words and played team games at Astwood Cove. We reconvened at lunch to count points and declare a winner!
Passports to St. George’s: Competitive Mode
Our popular Passports to St. George’s event takes guests around the Town of St. George to shops, museums, and historic sites where they get stamps in their custom passport. For a group of 72 people, we made this experience a competition! Stamps counted for 2 points. Riddles solved were worth more. And bonus challenges were hidden throughout! The super-competitive teams raced around the town. Those who wanted to move slower and explore were able to engage with tour guides and artists at their own pace. A win/win!
Immersive Theatrical Hunt
“You’re not just a regular guest… you’re a guest that’s on a quest… for a magical family jewel!” Guests at a conference were immersed in a theatrical scavenger hunt as part of their day, interacting with a full cast who were asking for their help to find a ‘missing’ jewel. Teams had to uncover clues, solve riddles, and put their memory to the test to be the winners and find the location of the family heirloom!
